The Power of Podcasts
Think of all of the ways that you get your information: books, newspapers, magazines, videos, etc. How much of this requires you to be visually active? Nearly all. Podcasting allows you to be physically engaged elsewhere, while still being able to be mentally stimulated. Podcasts allow you to be current and up-to-date on the latest trends, pedagogies, and technology. It's basically a mobile informational resource warehouse.

We PREVENT 'Innovation' FATIGUE!
Educators from the University of Texas at Tyler Innovation Academy will share with attendees how they are facilitating the concept of innovative thinking and learning through PBL and a flipped classroom model through 21st Century based technology. The presenters will share how educators and students developed together a culture that connects both to the context needed for learning and understanding the connections between all disciplines. They will offer food for thought that will encourage a focus on the “soft skills” of education in order to help develop young thinkers that can reason, problem-solve and develop sound arguments that will lead to protecting the distinction intended for the term “innovation.”
